Root Help installing Req's Kernal....

Help installing Req's Kernal.... title says it all i cant seem to get the kernal to install with out my phone getting stuck on the Android logo when booting...

i could really use some help...

Also i can't use Script manager its incompatible with my device...
what do i do?

EDIT: OK OK OK i read alittle more and it seem the kernel isn't going to work without cm7 installed along side it... i was only wanting the kernel not cm7 i use my phone too much cm7 is almost stable but not yet like the Beast... any comments let me know

What's the problem? Use odin to get CWM 5.0.2.7, flash his cwm 5.0.2.8, reboot recovery, wipe, flash stock++. If you're having issues with script manager, go to superuser and update the binary.
(and always make a backup)
