get back and home button working when it stops

I figured our how to get the back button and home button working when it locks up. I hold the phone near the bottom with my thumbs on the bottom near the corners and with my index fingers I rub the back of the phone behind the touch sensitive buttons a couple times and they start working again.

I just press the menu key a bunch of times then the other buttons start to work again.
