Help Email not showing up *Update* It's working now

About 80% of the time my emails are not showing up in my messaging center. I can go into the individual email accounts and hit refresh and the email will then show up about 50% of the time, but this is not an acceptable solution or success rate for me. I have gone into my account settings and verified the servers for each email account and they all connect fine but for some reason my emails are not coming through. I have tried putting the data push on as well as turning it off and setting the fetch schedule for every 15 minutes and it still does not work most of the time. Anyone have any other ideas?

*Update*
Well I dont know what happened but after about a week of not working at all my email just started showing up on time. I did not change any settings or download any updates or anything. Maybe the phone was just a little shy and decided that it knew me well enough now, who knows.

To the other people who have this problem maybe just give your phone a little time to get to know you better?

When I see this problem it's usually because the person has a PC up and running that is retrieving the mail from the server before the phone polls for new mail.

So, if the PC is configured to delete mail from the server after retrieval, and the mail app on your phone checks the server after the PC does, no mail will be found.

Hope that helps you out...

My PC is usually on, however I dont leave my email accounts signed in so I dont think that is the issue. I can usually get my email to show up on my phone I just have to manually refresh the inbox, so it is not being deleted from the server it is just not automatically forwarding to my phone like it should be.

I've heard this complaint from time to time from stock email users. I've never had this problem and I use the individual email apps I downloaded instead.

What are the email apps you use and do they all go to a central "messaging center" like the stock one? Also do your emails show up in the message bar and make your notification light blink with these apps?

they all show up in the message bar
they are not central
they have notification blinks
they are the standalone email apps, such as yahoo, hotmail and gmail
