What is so great about ICS?

What does ICS do that makes it so awesome over Gingerbread? Everybody want ICS so bad. It's bassically just a facelift with a few minor enhancements isn't it?

you can only move forward. Yes GB works fine but ics is the next step. It would be like saying whats so great about SNES? isn't it's just fancier graphics and enhanced game play? (compared to NES)

Oh wow cool. The phone is going to get better graphics, sound, and become two times better all on the same hardware.

It actually brings fixes and improvements such as battery life and others. Yes, it is alot of eye candy but there are benefits to it..

I only ask because I know about the glitches but I don't know what the real positives r. trying to decide if I want it or not. just some proof positive that battery life is better would be enough to tip the scale.

Understood, im going by info i read as well as Dev talk but in the end it comes down to multiple factors, type of phone, apps, rom, usage, signal & a bunch of others as well...

Not to that extent obviously but like another member posted, bug fixes are among the improvements. But you knew i didn't really mean that much of an improvement
