The ONLY complaint I have about Sprint is one major frustration that I have always had--every single time I try to activate a phone to replace my current one (I keep the same number, too), I get an error message online telling me, "We're sorry, but your new phone requires you to change plans. Please contact Customer Care at...". What a crock of BS!
I even tried activating the phone via the phone itself. It took me through the steps; I input my Sprint PIN, user name, etc., then it takes me to a screen telling me that my device is incompatible with my current plan. So, like I have had to do the last 5 years or more, I am forced to call Sprint and have them activate it. Ridiculous.
Best But had to "change" my plan as well ... they had to remove the old $10 premium data charge and give me a new $10 premium data charge.
Which doesn't give me warm and fuzzy about the future... I.e. New LTE phones get a differently coded premium data charge for future rate increases, while original remains same.
