Help Just got a p500 from Korea. Help please thanks.

Hello,

I have problems regarding my phone. It came from Korea so it has apps for Korean users. And the SMS has only 80 chars. Exceeding would render the message as MMS so it would not send after exceeding. I'm a Filipino so some apps would be useless to me and the SMS thing also, how would I change the settings of this phone into standard or more suitable to me. Sorry for being a noob because I'm new to smart phones. And I don't want to mess up with my phone. Any help will do thanks guys.

The best thing to do is to root it and install a custom rom. You can visit . Android Forums & Windows Phone Discussion @ xda-developers ... there are custom roms for LG P500.

You can google on how to root LG Optimus One / p500
installing custom roms is easy

Hey thanks. I have just rooted my phone to z4root, but I think nothing really happened. Or is it just me? I have seen Superuser but I don't know what it does. Sorry for being so noob. Phones are really getting smart and users are being more dumb. Can you put a link on how to put a rom or a good rooting app for my phone? Android version is 2.2 Thanks. Or please help if you think I'm just missing out some things. Thanks so much guys.
