my two cents:

I don't think verizon cares how impatient we are about the release of the incredible. In fact, they are prolly thinking that all of the inquires, polite or violent, is a good thing. Why? Because once the they release the news we will all forget about all the pain and suffering we've been going through and they are able to gauge the demand for this phone which right now, we all know is large.

But I'm more optimistic than most as the sources that say march 27 are more than the sources that say end of april. but of course we know it can be any day.

regarding the ctia, i have a question, that if answered, could reveal a lot to us:

remember how when the HTC booth was getting setup and they had TWO phones covered up:

"In addition, the wall has couple of window displays with a white piece of paper stating "No Peeking! come back soon".

So at that time, the HD2 was already out and not covered(RIGHT?) and we found out on the 2nd day that one of them was the HTC Supersonic (now known as EVO 4G).

So, someone please, please correct me if I am wrong:

ISN'T THERE STILL ANOTHER PHONE TO BE UNCOVERED?

Actually we found out on the FIRST day it was the EVO. And BOTH boxes held the EVO upon the time they were unveiled. Some conspiricy theorists believe the second box was swapped out for a duplicate evo.

may be something, could be nothing...

screen shot in one of the links associated with those tweets. can't confirm, of course, if it is actually from the Incredible. He has posted step-by-step instructions in both cases, but that may apply for any Android powered device.

HTC Incredible: Wipe All Data

The comment in one of the pages associated with the above link is moderately interesting and relatively recent: HTC Incredible: Hard Reset (See the single comment below the instructions)

God I hope not. also, someone wanna explain the meat balls thing???? did I miss something?
Anywho, if VZW firmware disables N wireless, it's going to be like an addict relapsing. They've come so far from nerfing their phone feature...only to start again.

sorry for my sheer ignorance, but what is the main benefit of N over B and G? I have a wireless N, but don't know that I would notice a difference...especially considering the fact that I think all 7 devices that are currently running wirelessly in my home, are running through a G

Hahahahahahahaaaa!! Yup. Nash talked me down from the ledge! ;) Today was a brutally long day with no news, no matter how you slice it!

Just call me "FavreDroid" :D
Well there wasn't much release news or vzw rep hearsay but stuff like the ROM dropping is huge to me cause it's actually concrete evidence of the phone and its specs, like the FCC filing. Those are my kind of rumors.

far as I can gather, if run pure (ie no a/b/g use off the N router) it's faster

Yes, but in your mind, and from your experience, what does that indicate to YOU as an ETA date?

Are we waiting for the Incredible because VZW wants to put it out on their new LTE 4G network? Tony -- Verizon Wireless' Senior VP and CTO -- affirmed that Verizon would be "interested" in getting a smartphone on its LTE network that could double as a mobile hotspot.
You'll be waiting a long time if the Incredible is going to be 4G. Like next year long.

Probably about a billion times because you don't know jack-shit.

It could be tomorrow it could be June. So yell it all you want, over and over again. And unless you KNOW an exact date STFU. All your posts are deragatory and tiresome. If you know so damn much go away and come back on the day you know it will be announced/released. Otherwise, just go away.
Hey Dub, why all the hateful replies? Your the first to accuse people of derogatory statements and I think your full of arrogance. You same old mode of operation is getting old and I'm getting tired of it. You have a bucket mouth that needs to be toned down. I'm sick of all your acronyms. You seem to be a antagonist looking for a fight. Cool out, were all here for the same thing. How you get away with your mouth is beyond me. Did I mention its starting to get offending.
