Verizon is sending me a replacement phone and I have 1,000 photo's and many songs on my current nexus hard drive that I want to have on the new phone. What is the best way to go about this?

One thing I just did was take my photo album and upload it to Google drive. Everything seems to be going smoothly so far but I'm not sure if I can then just take those files from Google drive and put them on the new phone? I also am unsure on the Mp3s.

The USB port on my phone doesn't work so I can't just plug it into a PC. Is there a seamless way to transfer my photo's and music?

Hopefully your new phone will have a functioning USB port, you should be able to download from cloud to PC and then transfer from PC to phone.

Downloading from the cloud to phone should work just as well - I use box and dropbox primarily and that works. I'd expect that google drive would work just as well - but you try downloading from google drive right now.

(MP3 - if you use google music - should be seamless. If you download to your phone, downloading from the cloud "should" work as well - again, try that now) :)

Will Airdroid move the Mp3s?

The pics seem to be doing fine through Drive. However, I don't know how to select the Mp3s to send to drive on the phone. It doesn't seem to be an option. For the photo albums I can select the entire album at once. No clue on the Mp3s.

I can't see a reason why not, but I don't really play with music on my gnex

Yes because Airdroid connects your phone and computer via wireless, so you can pull them from your phone to your computer via wireless.
