Help Strange problem with the mail app

Hi,
i'm using the native mail app with my 2 gmail accounts for a week now.
since yesterday i can't log in to one of my accounts

(it says "connection error (account_name)")

i checked my gmail account and the IMAP is enabled.

what can i do with that?

Try clearing the cache: Settings > Application Manager > Email and hit Clear Cache. Not Clear Data, but Clear Cache.

Just out of curiousity... Why not use the Gmail app for your Gmail account instead of the Email app? The phone has both and Gmail in my opinion works much better in its native app.

Because i want to use the "combine" view in the widget (gmail doesn't have that)...
