[International / GSM] A few Noobish questions......

I've owned several android phones but got my hands on a GNex last night at a party and decided that I really just have to own one. At $350 I'll be putting it on straight talk for $45 a month. It's really an amazing deal considering the Galaxy Nexus will still be the best Android phone you can own for a while. This brings me to my questions. I've rooted and rom'd every android I've owned. I imagine I won't be able to stop myself from doing it with the GNex either.

I'm about an hour west of D.C. where T-mobile gets a spotty signal. AT&T gets a signal in many places where the rest simply don't. I've also noticed my friends on AT&T also usually have 4G whenever they want it. Currently I'm using the LG Marquee on Boostmobile which uses sprint data. Not sure if any of you have ever had Sprint data service but it's horribly shitty. I'm talking 100kb down is a good average.

How are data speeds for those of you using AT&T?

I'll also probably want to root and flash CM10 almost immediately. Does everything work on any current build of CM10??

I've been testing a CM9 alpha build for the Marquee for a few weeks. So when I get my GNex I just want to flash CM10 and be done with it

You'll be much better off with an AOKP ROM. CM have only just got 9 out the door, let alone 10 and there have been pretty stable alpha builds of AOKP lately. They are already on the brink of a stable release, but I've been disappointed with CM since CM7 - AOKP is really the way to go with Nexus devices, although they don't offer the wide range of device support that CM10 offers, which is the tradeoff.

Honestly I think this really boils down to taste. I flashed an AOKP alpha build for my phone and went right back to CM9. Both CM9 and AOKP are similar in most respects. My main concern is functionality...I want EVERYTHING to work as flawless as it would in stock form.
There's tons of ROMs for the GNex and I'm honestly tired of being a flash junkie on my current phone. I just want to flash the most stable, current ROM and be done with it(for a little while)

Official CM10 was released yesterday. Anyone been playing with it or using it as a daily driver?

Hey thanks for your response Petrah. Does everything work on the AOKP rom? I'm sure I can adjust and get used to the subtle differences between CM9 and AOKP as long as it's functional.

Can anyone tell me about safe overclock speeds for the Nexus?
