Hi,

I am wondering if Android allows you to suppress sending the own number when calling someone.
I suppose there'll be a general option (like generally sending/hiding number) but I'd be particularly interested if there's an option to send it only to certain numbers (like all stored contacts or maybe even specific contacts) and not to all.

Is there some option like this? Thanks a lot! :)

Thanks Adam, to be honest, I dont have yet an Android phone, so I cant try. Wouldnt this setting apply to Android in general and not be phone specific? Which one would you have?

Yes it is a general OS setting as far as I am aware and I have a Motorola Cliq and a new Cliq XT on its way to me.

Which options does this setting give you?

Network Default
Hide Number
Show Number

Regards,

Adam

There's an app that can actually show a different number and can alter you voice. I can't remember what it's called. I just saw it on one of my co-worker's phone.
Thanks, might you be referring to SpoofApp?

Network Default
Hide Number
Show Number
I see, thanks but these are the standard settings, I'd be looking for something more granular in terms of individual contacts/numbers.
