Life would be easier if anyone can confrm that if i buy this, it will fit 100% correctly with the htc desire, and if this is the case, that would OPEN up a lot more choices to really show of the deire, thanks for your feedback.

It was more the proof in where the camera,lens,led flash, charger outlet, volume buttons,etc,etc, if these are the same i think i will buy this case, you have to admit, it will keep your phone EXTRA safe, and still be able to see the phone.

Looks like they aren't planning to make cases for the Desire which is a damn shame! I guess i could doctor the n1 vroom case so that it doesnt cover the buttons at the bottom, could be worth a punt, wot ya reckon?

Ill say it again, N1 cases WILL NOT FIT the Desire, dimensions may be similar but shapes are totally different especially for tight fitting cases, that doesnt include the fact the cutouts will be different.

I have both phones and have tested Nexus cases on my Desire. Only thing that will fit is a pouch. Look at the pic, the Nexus is much rounder and tapers at each edge.

I only said it'll be *like* the N1 case, but obv to fist the desire so people could get an idea what it will look like.

For me, I need something that will fully protect the screen, as I do a very manual job which could lead to damage quite easily - you only need to see my N96's case to see how well it protected the screen.

Have used pouches before, and find they cause wear marks on edges and painted metals when you continually put in/out. Mrs' U900 was down to the metal from using a phone pouch after 12 months!
