Yes im using CWM and everything went good, I used the instructions from you last post with the link in it. The only issue I had was at the beginning and that was only because of a "bad" dwnload caused by my phone, other then that all is well

oh and no mine was a cwm flashable, you all should be able to do a nandroid yourselves. lol

Question for ya, If I use the deodexed stock ROM can I use the themes that are available now or will that not work and I should just make my own? I love the 2 ROMs that are out but for some reason I keep getting random reboots even if I set my max. clock freq. to 810 Mhz. and I wiped caches but no luck, so I'll just wait for them to become more stable. OH!!! and by the way, Thanks for all your work and for being one of the few that still work on this phone

So I went back to the backup i made just before installing Black Plague the first time. It's a stock ZV9 rooted.

I may try the ZV9 debloated.

But if you get the ZVA Deodexed that would be great.

That is essentially what your Black Plague ROM is anyway right.

Actually I am back on BP 1.2, I switched to my backup of stock, but after a moment I was like "this sux" and so i restored a backup i made of Black Plague just after i had installed LG Connect Optimizer by Kanaida.

I then did the fix where i deleted the /system/etc/init.qcom.post_boot.sh
even though you kinda said not to do that in the Broken Out Rom CPU fix thread.
and i deleted Optimizer....and coincidentally Juice Defender because it kept turning off my data after i installed optimizer.... it could be a coincidence.
I've had some Wifi issues too, i can connect to the network, but the internet connection hangs. Think i will go back to 2x Battery for now. I know many people don't put much stock in the battery saving apps, but i figure every little bit helps, especially with this phone.

Anyway, BP is running smooth as butter now, especially with around a 1.2 ghz max CPU setting on Lagfree governor, but my battery seemed to drop by the second, and it got sorta hot too, about 114*F. Not sure what the tolerances are for temperature. But I decided to try a more battery saving setting with like a .6 Ghz max and smartassv2 governor...I actually have no earthly idea which governors do what to be honest. Lag free was self explanatory. I've been meaning to research this.

Anyhow thank you for all your hard work. I hope to see a Black Plague 1.3 in the future, and hopefully with a proper cpu fix.
Then maybe LG Connect Optimizer will play nicely.

And speaking of deodexed, i read somewhere that has something to do with being able to set font/text colors.
Any advice on how to fix this:

Oh k I was downloading it half way lol. I will try and le you know I have tried deodexing this phone but it would fail in some of the frameworks. Beside it feels better to use work from dev like you and pg.

nah dont try it.. something was fishy about the kernel modules... im re compiling it now to see where i went wrong hope you didn't just brick your device i would feel friggin awefull dude!!!

not sure what you mean by that LOL, but i seem to be having issues compiling the kernel for pure stock.. im just gonna throw the kernel im using in #2 for the test rom

haha yeah my bad didn't even realize.. i was lazy and skipped de-odexing the framework folder.. figured the one from roms would be the same but totally forgot about the lock screen haha, that was just a dummy sample anyway.. still need to include the stock rooted kernel which i had compiled last nite , go through the system and make sure it's as close to stock as possible
