Help Galaxy Tab keeps rebooting.

I've only had it for 4 months. Today I simply connected it to my computer (first time I've ever done so) to transfer some music from my tab to my PC and deleted the old files. I then tried to transfer new music from my PC to the tab, the transfer failed and it then automatically restarted and now won't stop.

I've tried deleting the cache via the Recovery option and I don't want to Factory Reset as there is data I've been working on since I bought it still on the tab.

Is there a fix that will save my data or a way for me to access and backup the data so I can Factory Reset?

I do not want to lose that information.

Can you give us more info about the Tab? Is it rooted? Does it have a custom recovery? Have you ever put a custom ROM on it?

That would be a negative on all three.

This is my first Android device. I haven't even begun to learn about the modding community.

I just thought of something, what if I do a Factory Reset and then use an Un-delete app to restore the data I need?

Anyone think it might work?
