Desire browser - only 4 windows?

I'm waiting for the Desire to show up in Hong Kong, and I've been searching all over the web about this but nobody seems to be bothered so far. From the user manual it seems the Desire's default browser can only have up to 4 windows (or tabs). Is this correct? And do none of the Desire/Legend owners find this restrictive?

I browse a lot on my ipod touch, and sometimes find 8 windows isn't even enough, especially when opening multiple pages from Google Reader to load while I read others.

Doesn't the Nexus One have up to 8 browser windows?

Correct. Yes, I do find it annoying.

Yep. I think the difference is caused by the Desire's HTC-skinned browser being more, well, more. Thumbnails when switching windows, the copy-and-paste/quick look-up and translate add-on, Flash lite. N1's stock browser doesn't have those.

You can however install other browsers for example Opera (Unlike iPhone).

Yeah I'll probably use other browsers when I know I'll need more windows, but I still hope they up the default browser at some point... it's the only one that "supports" Flash right?
