How do you add a received phone number to contact?

I am trying to take a phone number from my call log and edit it to be added to a contact without typing it by hand. On my Sprint Katana, when you clicked on the phone number in the call log, you had the choice to edit or append the number. On my Hero, when I press on the phone number, it calls it? Am I missing a step, or not holding the press long enough?

I have searched and read as many as come up under a search, but I can't find any that address it from the call log issue.

After the call has ended the number will appear in the call list. On the right side of number will be a box. Click the box and add contact.

Also under menu-phone settings you can check the box that says to save unknown contacts to people after call and after every call with an unknown number it will ask you if you want to save that number to contacts

Thanks. Problem solved. It was as I suspected. I was not pressing and holding long enough for fear of calling the number. I called it 4 times trying the first time. I knew the information was here, and since the phonebook I am using, acontacts, didn't come with the Hero, I didn't think the manual would help.
