Help Transfer calendar from Blackberry Bold 9900 to Samsung Galaxy S3

Hi all,

I was wondering, how do you transfer the calendar from a Blackberry Bold 9900 to a Samsung Galaxy S3? I cannot use Google Sync as my Blackberry doesn't support it. What other relatively easy ways are there of transferring the calendar?

been a while since i used a blackberry but can you export the calander to a file type that can than be imported to google?

I'm not too sure if you can import the calendar to google. I've found a support site set up by google to sync using blackberry internet server to gmail and use this way to sync blackberry calendar to gmail. Gmail is linked to my S3 and I think from what I've read that gmail will sync my calendar from my blackberry to my S3. Gmail is Google email. Hope this makes sense.

Have you tried using Samsung Kies to transfer from the Blackberry to the Galaxy.

Kies - Sync Media, Contacts & Calendars Across All Devices | Samsung

I have just used Samsung Kies to transfer the files from my Blackberry to my Galaxy. It took about 10 minutes to transfer the data. I Wish I had known about using Kies to transfer the data as I spent a good few hours transferring bits and pieces using Easy Phone Sync for Blackberry. Easy Phone Sync isn't all that good as it didn't transfer all my contacts correctly and I had to manually add them to my Galaxy S3. Using the transfer facility on Kies is brilliant and I cannot fault it. Thanks for your help :)

Sadly I have to move 500 memos from a BlackBerry 9700 bold .ipd file to my Galaxy Gio S5660, but I can't resolve it with Kies (nor with other softwares)...
Kies just hangs at 0% when I'm trying to use the "transfer back up data from Blackberry" option, so I can't recover the memos.

Any Idea?

Thanks in advance

Ciao

Sync the blackberry with outlook would probably be the easiest way now.

My s3 just died and I'm using my old blackberry. To get my google contacts onto it, I had to export from google then import to outlook. Then used blackberry desktop manager to sync those outlook contacts to the bb.

You would probably need to do the reverse. Setup outlook with your google stuff and then sync your bb into outlook which should include calendar.

If this doesn't upload the calendar into google, at least you can export it from outlook to import manually into gmail.com
