Need help with Data off but incoming calls on....

As the topic states. I'm leaving for overseas a few weeks and I was wondering if it's possible to have no data being sent or recieved while being able to receive phone calls. Is this possible with the One X?

Yes it's possible. In settings, tap on Mobile Network (not the on/off button) and un-select Data Roaming. That will disable any data connection when you're not on your home country network, but still leave voice calls and sms enabled.

For an iPhone to just get phone calls and texts you should need to go to Settings > General > you then have options for Mobile data on or off... This will only use data if your connected to Wifi.... If you have it on already you can turn off Data Roaming aswel. Thats from my iPhone 3GS, knowing Apple its the same for the 5...
