I need help figuring out my APN for my Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE phone. I have AT&T and I have looked everywhere to find the info but no luck.

I don't need 3G data. I'm fine with sticking to Edge. All I want is to be able to use edge and make calls/txt

The previous phone I had was an unlocked sony xperia mini pro and it didnt come with any carrier. But this one is with Verizon and it's pissing me off so far. I've read that it is possible to call/txt and use edge with this phone on AT&T. So please don't say it is impossible. I have cut the SIM Card to a micro SIM and the phone successfully recognized it. All I see in the Network Setting > APNs is:

Internet
VZWINTERNET

Someone please guide me. I want an APN for AT&T , I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm sorry, but the Verizon Incredible LTE will not ever work on AT&T due to technical limitations. :( It doesn't have any GSM radios at all, and the LTE between the two carriers is completely incompatible. Sorry about that. While it does have HSDPA radios, they won't interact with AT&T Towers because there isn't any authentication scheme I can think of, and this would still limit you to data only.

It appears the spec I retrieved were a bit faulty.

However, on the HTC site it states it's full quadband, stay tuned.

UPDATE: It appears the GSM radios are under software lock and key, and can't be activated unless Verizon lets you, I'm not even sure they've released the software patch to do so yet.

FINAL UPDATE:

Ok, if you have the latest OTA it allows you to SIM unlock via the settings menu.

Give this a shot:

Thanks for your reply Iowa.

I forgot to mention that I don't even have any service on the phone. No bars, no signal, nothing. However, I found this:

http://support.verizonwireless.com/pdf/system_update/droidincredible4glte.pdf

An AT&T tech rep did some quick research and told me that the phone, like you said, is restricted to Verizons frequencies and is incompatible with at&t's towers but I insisted on explaining to him that others have been able to get it to work with at&t before, and then he told me that the phone needs to be a world phone in order for it get service with at&t. The software update that is posted on that link above shows that the "Device is enabled for Global Roaming"

Does that make it a global phone? The at&t rep wasn't exactly sure if it is a world phone? I can't update the phone from sense 4.0 to sense 4.1 (which the above update is for) because the Verizon rep told me that I need Verizon to activate my phone and the only way to do that is to pay $35 for activation and then pay $90 for prepaid service. Then I would be able to go to software update and update my phone. I really don't want to pay $125 just to update my phone. Even with Wifi, it still won't work because it needs to be activated. There is probably a way to update it without Verizon's activation requirement, I say this because the htc phone and Verizon is, I believe, built in separate.

So first I need to get service up on this phone before I mess with the APN.

So what would you suggest I should do to unlock the SIM? I think I have the APN figured out but like I said earlier I need service first.

You'd have to have the latest OTA from VZW that unlocks the world phone capability.
