As is always the case, speeds are going to rely on a number of variables such as your geographic location and number of people trying to access the same tower.
Blanket statements like X sucks just don't hold water
The nice thing about prepaid is you don't have to stay. Try another or pay up for one of the big 4
Guys, lets attack issues and not each other, please keep that in mind, if anyone has an issue with a carrier call them to resolve the issue. Lets all get along.
Only once had dial up speeds with Boost. And that was when Sprint was working on towers in my area for about 2 weeks. Getting 1Mbps at 3G and 6Mbps at 4G (times as high as 12Mbps). TMO and ATT I've heard are reasonable. Reason I chose prepaid was because I couldn't afford contract. Few years later now that I can afford, why would I pay double the price for the same service. The beauty of prepaid is you can get up and leave whenever you want. There's no contract with your life signed away.
This is like your 4th thread of you just complaining about Boost's internet. Since it doesn't look like your going to start a thread in the sub-forum of your phone, maybe we can help you here.
Have you noticed if your phone often switches between 3G/EvDo and 1x? Do you even have the 3G/Evdo symbol in the corner of your screen? I'm not sure what phone you have, but some phones like the Samsung Prevail don't actually show a UI change between the two. So while you may believe you have 3G/EvDo you could actually be on the 1xRTT signal. If you've been stuck on 1xRTT signal this whole time then Sprint likely doesn't offer decent coverage in your area and your screwed.
You can download Open Signal Maps to locate the closest tower to you, if your connecting to 3G/EvDo or 1xRTT and the signal strength in dBm's.
Everyone here agreed to abide by Da Rules, conveniently linked in my sig.

Also - do not take it upon yourself to play Grammar Nazi. If someone's post is literally so bad you cannot understand it, fine - ask them to rephrase. But do not nitpick and ruin threads just to show how high-n-mighty-like you can be.
