Root Arg Bootloop

Hey all, I pulled my battery out and put another one in to see the battery level of the extra battery (I charge externally). When I put the 'original' battery in my phone got stuck in a bootloop. Is there any way to fix this issue without losing any information? I'm new to this so detailed advice would be helpful. Running froyocream sandwich, and recovery still works.

I had a problem where my phone was in a bootloop once and fixing permissions and clearing the caches fixed it, you might try that

Have you tried to charge the original battery? Or have you looked at the battery level while in the boot loop? I presume you are making it past the boot logo. If not, then you might want to try to pull your SDcard and just see what happens.

I've been charging the batteries externally due to a usb issue with the phone, and I don't know the exact level bc it doesn't go past the boot animation. However, I am pretty sure the level is lower than 50%. Just tried to pull the SDcard and looping still occurs: Google boot logo, boot animation, screen off for a couple seconds, google boot logo, boot animation, screeen off for a couple seconds, repeat.

Have you just tried reflashing the ROM with out wiping anything?

Ok, so, in recovery you have wiped cache and in advanced wiped dalvik cache, fixed permissions, and you have tried reflashing the ROM, correct? Well, there are only two more options. You may as well go in to recovery and make a backup so you can get your data back.

1. Factory reset the phone - This will erase everything except the ROM so make sure you backup before you do this.
-or-
2. Flash a different froyo Rom - You should be able to at least boot up and back up some stuff, don't use the Stock ROM cause it will basically factory reset the phone which defeats the purpose of going this route. I can't promise anything but that is the route I would go. I have Titanium Backup pro so I just extract stuff from the nandroid backup. There are other apps in the play store, plus you can just wipe everything and do an advanced restore, just choose data and all of your stuff will be back, which may include the bootloops. But data is the last thing that has not been touched. Good luck.
