Are you on the deodexed rom? Or odexed?

I think it would matter, not sure yet, still not rooted.

because if it does then you need the odex...if it doesn't then you don't....

if it needs the odex and you do not have an odex then the market will not function properly without it

Gapps comes packaged with the odex files. I'm 90% sure. CM at one point was not deodexed (unsure if that's still the case) You could always flash Gapps on an odexed CM without an issue. Seeing as stock is odexed I fail too see a problem.
