[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

Data/media/0

that is where your data needs to be on a 4.2 rom. Dont worry about any other folder than this one. This is where the sdcard will read from.

other folders you are talking about are symlinks to this location.

All of my data resides in data/media/0 and my sdcard doesnt have a /0 attached to it and my recoveries work correctly.

OK, I am still on XenonHD 4.1.2 right now. So, do I need to move on up to Sourcery 4.2 (4.4 ver) before I take the delete knife or go ahead and delete all the other directories expect data/media/0?

What is the best option...try to merge everything into the data\media\0 from all the other directories and then it is OK to delete all them?

I really appreciate you taking the time here...I know it's a hassle, but trying to get all this ironed out and don't want to go through what I did last Monday...lol! Although, now I know what to do IF if happens again...good learning experience.

should be fine to move them now...

I had similar issues when 4.2 1st came out... it is quite frustrating.. I worked thru it trial and error figuring out where the data really was stored :)

In case I forget to say it later MANY THANKS MAN for all the help and basically walking me through this...been a headache, but learning experience.

I still haven't got it all squared away.

I have an emulated folder here and there but managed to delete some of the "0" folders. For the longest time I think my data was being stored in this directory:

sdcard/0/0/0/0/0/emulated/0/0/0/your data isn't here/0/0/0/0/or here/emulated/0

I'll fix it all at some point in time :D

rofl.... you just kept installing rom after rom after rom didnt you

I don't know, maybe. The 4.2 release was such a blur :)

Here's my data folder:

I think this is why manufactures are going away from external sd cards. If you think my nexus data was FUBAR'd, you should see my TF101 running 4.2 :D

Makes me wonder what my cloud storage directories look like haha!

I would love an option for the face unlock to recognize if the phone is in landscape.
when I have my phone sitting on my desk, it is in landscape. When I press the power button, it shows the camera sideways making face unlock not recognize my face.
Any way to implement this?

the clairvoyent rom.

see i knew you'd ask this so we prepared ahead.

go into jbcontrol and lockscreen near bottom turn on allow lockscreen rotation.

and viola!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hey quick question, I'm TRYING to watch the game full screen but the screen turns off after 30 seconds as set by display settings. My question is, is there a way to get the screen to stay on to keep the stream going? I don't see a setting for it in stock browser... You got anything for that TS or anyone ...?

I suggest you try Tasker. I use it for that exact thing. I have a list of apps that when open my display will stay on.

Change your setting while watching movie? or plug in a power cord, with settings not to sleep while plugged it

Considering that the Experimental just came out, and I'm not seeing anything wrong with it (or new - I need a changelog), I would expect 4.5 to be out in a matter of days. Make room for backups... it'll be a clean flash ROM :)

In that case, I think I'll wait a few more days for 4.5 to officially drop, mostly because I hate redoing all of my settings. Thanks!

Installed JB Sourcery yesterday and enjoying it, but have one problem. Noticed my battery is draining quicker than it use to when I was on XenonHD and Franco's kernel. CPUSpy shows 60% at 350 mhz and only 29% deep sleep. I am using the default kernel that comes with JB Sourcery. Any clues why I'm may not be getting into deep sleep mode? Wanted to give the default kernel a chance before I switch back to franco.

Devs, I have a question:

I clean flashed 4.4.5 and replaced the 4.2 deskclock with the 4.1 deskclock... which now suddenly force closes often. Did something change in the experimental ROM that would reject the old clock? I hate the 4.2 clock with a passion...

EDIT : Leave it to me to put the cart before the horse... it seems that in my haste, I restored alarms from TiBU before the app! I went back and restored alarms again and it's fine now. "SIGH"

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using SwiftKey Flow

OK, don't seem to be much going on in this thread anymore. No one seems to have a deep sleep issue but me :) Just going to switch back to Franco's Kernel and try that and see if that fixes the battery drain.

Sweet ROM though...love all the customizations in it.

my deep sleep has been 80% for the last week on the provided kernel

i seem to remember getting closer to 90% on other kernels, may try switching it up
