bluetooth keyboard & Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 not pairing

Bluetooth Keyboard Case SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR TAB 7"
Will not pair with my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

I tried repeatedly without success and thats what brought me here.
I gave up after a week but came across a video on youtube in which the guy had the exact same keyboard and tablet. He claims his is paired, now my tab recognizes the bluetooth as it is inicated in the bluetooth section. As soon as I click the icon to begin typing the 4 digit code nothing happens, it later times out and I am then shown a message saying the two cannot be paired. Both are fully charged so am left with frustration and questions, please help.

I am sorry you are having issues trying to get your bluetooth paired. Have you tried pairing something else to your tab or the keyboard to your phone to see if there is a problem with the tablet or a problem with the keyboard?

I believed it to be simple but now I dont know whut to think, maybe a tech head saw a lesser of a man and sold me some defective shit, well nerds got to get thier some how I guess. LoL

From your description in your first post it sounds like you're trying to start with typing in the code using the physical keyboard.

I have never done it, but from this article it would seem you're supposed to type in any random code with your phone's software keyboard, hit enter, and then swap to the physical keyboard and replicate the same code.

It also mentions that third party software may be needed, depending on the version of android you're running.
