...how would I bring all my apps over to the spirit as well as all my settings and preferences, or would I have to re-download all the apps and re-install them and configure the Spirit to my liking?
Also, I have the $30.00 monthly plan which is NLA (no longer available)
When I activate the Spirit, would I be able to bring that plan onto that phone, or would I have to go with a different, more expensive plan?
And how does one activate the phone?
I'm really on the fence on this phone as I just bought my Motion a few months ago for $150.00 + tax + activation.
If I were to buy the Spirit, I would buy it on Wirefly for $240.00, no tax and if I activate it myself, no activation fee.
I would also send in the rebate form as well as it seems that Metro will honor it as long as you send in the 3 requirements (copy of the receipt, copy of the barcode on the box, and the rebate form.) although IDK for certain that they will honor it, but I don't see anything that leads me to believe they wouldn't.
So it seems that I can have the Spirit for $170.00 if they honor the rebate.
I would probably keep my Motion as a backup phone since it has little resale value although I do have an older iPhone that will fetch around $100.00 on eBay so that would also help offset the price.
So can I migrate apps and my rock-bottom $30.00 monthly plan, or would that not be honored if I change phones as that monthly special was only for people that bought their phone at an authorized dealer?
My guess is that Metro would put me on the $40.00 monthly plan, so I would be spending an extra $120.00 a year.
