***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

OK..here goes.

The number is the "mark of the beast" who was blasphemous against God in Revelation chapter 13. According to the chapter a person can't buy or sell anything without receiving this mark. So, if you didn't get it, you essentially were on your own (starving?). Receiving the mark was an outward sign of homage to the beast.

The Hebrew alpha-numeric meaning for the number 666 is "Kaiser Nerone" (Caesar Nero). Additionally, In Hebrew numerology, 6 is the number for man (created on the 6th day) and 3 is the number for God (Trinity). So, it is essentially the symbol of a man who makes himself out to be God.

So, one of the interpretations was that the early Christians were not to embrace Emperor worship. (Caesar was considered a god.) Another part of the prophetic imagery is that it belongs to something yet to befall humanity at the end-time period.

you mean the number 3 is the number of God in Christian theology, not Hebrew.

but ya, i believe this interpretation of the revelation is more accurate than the literal acceptance... unless, you'd like to think Jesus riding a white horse, chopping heads off of people

I've had a web crawler for the last 2 months on this phone. Most of the rumors, stories and outstanding back-door legit stuff on here about the Incredible are being re-circulated all over the internet from USA to Outer Mongolia to Squeedunk and back! I'm sure this has convinced VZW to lay back, let the hype continue and then get as much $$$ as they can out of all this. But, then again, maybe not. But then again...

As this phone gets closer and closer to getting into our hands, is it possible for somebody with access to it to verify that the user guide is correct?

Will the phone NOT come with an SD card? If that's correct, any word on max capacity that will work?

Can applicationss truly be stored on an SD card, per the user guide?

ETA: I see on the Equipment Guide, that it will take 16GB card.

Hmmm, that HTC Desire on there (except for the 5mm camera and the little "chin") this looks like the specs for the Incredible.

have seen that it is 720p capable but not confirmed it is turned on...may need to be turned on with a software update at some point...one of the things we are all still waiting for.

BGR also says N for wifi to go along with all of the other places we have seen this. I hope it sticks. Not worried about the throughput as much as the range.
