> As I see that many users including myself have had doubts about how to change the startup logo and bootanimatión, I decided to do a tutorial for anyone to do it without problems following all the steps and through other people who have helped me. As you know the company Huawei makes things more complicated when changing the startup logo, as in other companies follow the standerd way. Well the (first step) we will proceed to change the startup logo for this we first need an image to replace the HUAWEI LOGO. The image must be 320x480 and must be in RGB565 . > How I can create a RGB565 image? You have to download a program called paint.net and then have to put this plugin directory in the paint . net FileTypes folder. Paint.net Open the program and open an image you want to put as the mobile screen when turned on. Once you have loaded the image and save image* as a (name oemlogo.mbn and down select type RGB565 . you have the image ready to upload. > I remind you that you need root permissions to save the image. use a program called Root Explorer and copy logo to* / cust / cricket / us / logo Once you copy it to this file procced to dext step. > How to run through SHH? download app called ConnectBot and once installed, run the program and put in local mode and put any nicknames. Now you're in the console, you will have to get in root mode and to do that type su then enter you should get a # showing your in root.* in console: type* / system / bin / load_oemlogo If nothing pops up thats ok let it load and restart

this took time for me to do ill post better instrutions as i work out bugs

(2)PART2
http://www.4shared.com/file/mrsbkiiY/logo_change.html

ok inside the zip i named logo are 4 files (1) root explorer (2)terminal app this is if you dont have one (3)a folder named clogo (4) and load_oemlogo.bin file

put files 3 & 4 and this file http://www.4shared.com/file/bAkqf27q/oemlogo.html* on your sdcard now go to root explorer and go to your sdcard and go to the clogo file select and hold it tell it says move or copy select eather one the then hit back and go to /system and past.....when thats done go back to sdcard select the load_oemlogo file and select and hold and copy or move then you want to go to /system/bin* and paste ......and last go back to sd select the oemlogo.mbn file copy that to /cust/cricket/us/logo* and paste.....

now go into terminal type su and enter*

then type this* /system/bin/load_oemlogo* and then hit enter nothing will pop up just hold power and and reboot

Here is an easier way to do it:

I RECOMMEND DOING A BACKUP PRIOR TO DOING THIS!

1. Create your splash screen image using Paint.net with the rgb file extension
2. Rename it to oemlogo.
3. MAKE SURE THE FULL EXTENSION IS oemlogo.mbn.rgb565!
4. Put the file on your phone's SD card.
5. FIRST CHECK IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THE BIN FILE!
6a. If you don't have it, put in on you phone.
6b. If you do, don't do anything.
7. Check if you already have a clogo folder.
8a. If you do, open the folder and remove the file in it.
8b. If you don't create the folder.
9. Place the logo you made into the clogo folder.
10. IMPORTANT! RENAME IT SO THAT THE RGB565 IS NOT IN THE FILE NAME! I FIGURED THIS OUT MYSELF!
11. Go to a terminal emulator and type the following:

su
load_oemlogo

Now reboot. It should work.
