Root [ROM] BlueKingdom 1.4 - Updated 9/29

Hello,

I want to report a few issues I thought would be important.

1- I have noticed that the process called COM.ANDROID.PHONE gives a report that is not responding, and the pop-up gives me the option to either wait or close such process [[ every time I reboot the phone for the reasons that I will mention in issue No.2 ]]

NOTE: I always choose "wait" and the phone doesn't give me anymore notifications about this process, and I can make and receive calls and texts w/ no problem.

2- I have noticed that my stock internet browser ( Android Browser ) repeatedly shuts down or crashes for lack of a better way for me to describe this.

Specifically, sometimes I'd be surfing the net, doing searches, reading some Wikipedia stuff, or even the IMGUR gallery of images. And at some point during the process of loading the page..... The browser shuts down completely, it doesn't even give me a force close notification. (its like if I had pushed the HOME button on the phone )

And when I try to re-open the browser expecting whatever page I had been working on to be there.... I have to start over from scratch. (as in open homepage, input address or search query and maybe open desired page on a second tab as I usually do.)

And whenever the browser "hangs" for long or just shuts down, I have tried rebooting the phone (battery pull does not make any difference in the process COM.ANDROID.PHONE reporting same issues again)

3- the same shut down behavior (as mentioned in point No.2) has been occurring w/ other applications, including native Camera app and native Gallery app.

***** NOTE *****

I have been noticing this for the last 3 days, but I wanted to be completely sure I could replicate those issues.

In fact I can almost certainly say that this whole thing started right about the time my YouTube app crashed in a weird way and I had to reboot phone by way of a battery pull ( as mentioned in one of my prior posts )

Because the very next day my antivirus app crashed in the same way as in point No.2 , so I thought maybe the backup file of antivirus app I had used was potentially corrupted, so I chose an older version from my TitaniumBackup files and reinstalled it.

Even after I had updated the antivirus app on the Play Store, It crashed again w/ same behavior as in point No.2

***** End of Note *****

So there you guys have it.... Any thoughts ?

Cheers

I've a small question. It's a bit off topic, but I feel it's related to Evo D4G and possibly this ROM .... Let me explain why. :)

I found an app called "Google Keep" for taking notes that can be color coded and even turned into checklists w/ boxes that you place a mark on.

Is this app only available for those phones that have Google Now? Maybe?

I'm asking because I've tried to share it w/ some friends who have different phones. Going from Samsungs on Ginger B, to an LG marquee from boost or Galaxy S2 from different carriers.

But none of them have Google Now, and if I search for this app on the Market.... It doesn't come up on the results page.

in fact sharing the APK ( extracted w/ ES file explorer, and e-mailed through its own interface and G-mail ) with them won't install the app. When I click on the e-mail attachment it says fetching ..... But after a while it just says parsing error.

Could it be a mistake on my part, with the procedure I'm using to share the APK via e-mail?

But I think that my suspicions about Google Now being fully integrated w/ this ROM and thus being able to find this app on the Market w/ my Evo D4G are solid.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

firstly, you dont really need an antivirus for android. check out xdadevelopers.com, its discussed in forums there that there arent any virus for android (just a bunch of ad junk)

also if you restore an app from a different rom via titanium backup it could cause problems

Thanks for your feedback.

I can do without antivirus, but I don't know about a couple of app that I paid for the PRO version.

I guess I will try to se if I can restore the PRO keys from market ( to tell you the truth I don't even know if that's possible ) but ill try fully restoring all my apps from market.

And keep an eye for any changes in this odd behavior

Again, thank you.

Cheers.

idk if its just me but this isnt the first time this has been happening, like i take pics with the front faced camera and it comes out extremely pixelated, the same goes for instagram,i even tried reducing the resolution but that didnt solve the problem,is there a fix for this?

I don't see see this happening on my phone, the FFC is naturally a worse quality camera - can someone else look at it who uses the front cam often and see if looks worse then stock?

HELLO

Could it be that you just need to check the box to select show caller ID on lock screen and status bar?

You can find it by going to:

Settings > Call > Phone Settings > select show caller ID on lock screen and status bar.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

How do you do:
Download master production system for brush, brush-seven times without success, stuck in the power on the first screen, what is the reason? HTC design 4g was updated to the latest version, Android software version 4.0.3, HTC sense 3.6: 4.02.651.2710RD, do they wish to master? Should have conditions to successfully brush. ForgottenKingdom is a very good system, please help, thank you!I am sorry, English is not very good,

I had the same issue. Ran the die-hard battery calibration from the V6 Supercharger download page. Fixed it right up.

I have been running this rom for a little bit now. Very nice! I am de-sensed, using nova launcher, mx player and, chrome. This thing runs about as well as it did back before ICS killed it.(i was happy with gb performance) You've got a great setup with this one! I cant find anything wrong or not working. Thanks a lot!!!
