Quick question about sense

Hi just a quick question, tried searching the forms and all I could really find was threads arguing about it. But on the Droid Eris 2.1V2 can you disable the sense UI without root?

I believe the answer to your question is yes.

You cannot uninstall sense without root. If you would like to use the default Home or some other home application, Sense will run in the foreground for a short time while running the other home and then will run in the background. If you would like to run an alternative home, I would suggest using the application Home Switcher. With that application you can set any home application as your default, and the default home will always load instead of Sense.

you will still have sense dialer, people, gallery, etc though
