I think if a new N10 comes out I'll probably end up getting it! As it currently stands my only gripe is the heat the thing can put out when using chrome and the occasional freezes/reboots. Hoping 4.3 puts an end to that. (I could put a custom ROM on of course but that's not something I'm really interested in)

My concern is for the new 10. I cannot get used to the revival of something as obsolete as a stylus. Next thing we know floppy disks make a comeback.

Wow are you worrying about nothing.

Even on the Samsung Note tablets, the stylus is optional, not mandatory. Its another tool, and a stylus has its place. Just as you don't try to use a hammer to turn a screw, the stylus works better for precision work. But if you don't need it, then don't use it.

Hard to improve on the Nexus specs, but if I had to guess:

a. 3-4 GB RAM
b. processor update (hoping for Snapdragon 800 and not Exynos chip)
c. 64 GB internal storage (yeah, yeah... I can at least dream about this one!)

That would be iPad killer, imagine if they had a 128 gigabyte for storage 4 gigabytes of RAM and a quad core processor and some crazy 16 core graphics card.

With the current N10 there is no stock stylus. I personally use one for screen navigation ( small capacitive) but it usually gets put down to type............
Is stylus for me is a must, that is why I am leaning towards me samsung galaxy note 10.1. I will be taking a lot of math classes in college and need something to write with a tablet that will support palm rejection and that has really really good software for taking notes. However the Nexus line of tablets and smartphones are phenomenal. If they had stylus like features with amazing software like s notes I'd be down to drop whatever it is on a tablet like that. One can only dream.

I read that article yesterday too. I had an Asus TF300 until i had a water "incident" to It was always pretty laggy. I was excited to get new Samsung N10. Now I don't know if I'm excited anymore. I've heard new N7 is fast, but GPS problems. I'm borrowing an old N7 right now and it's good. Haven't installed much tho...

If Samsung does make it again, don't expect Exynos chips in it. Samsung protects the binaries to those incredibly tight, and we saw what an issue Qualcomm recently with the Nexus 4 & Nexus 7. Nexus One still isn't on AOSP either, though I don't think too many still use it.

If Asus is making it, I have a strong feeling we'll see the return of the Tegra Chipset because that's what they like using. A Tegra 4 in the Nexus 10 is a real possibility and it would be pretty sweet.

Either way, I don't think I'm going to get it because I really like the Transformer line because the keyboard dock and I doubt the Nexus 10 will be like that.
