Anyboby know of a good free NES Emulator and where I can get the games from

the emulator itself is legal to share and discuss aslong as its freeware. the roms in the other hand isn't permitted to be shared nor discussed since its piracy since nintendo will never give anyone permission to share them openly and publicly since its their property. With that being said here's a list of emulators free and paid. try them out

I hear the John NES works pretty well. For SNES, SuperGNES has been my jam. Couldn't recommend it enough

Disccussion of emulators is ok, but discussion of downloading unowned game roms for emulators is piracy, and that's a no no here. For reference, check the site rules in my sig.
