Well eBay mainly but here's the story.
More than a month ago, before I bought my Android phone, I bought a Straight Talk Blackberry Curve. It was on sale for $50 and it even had a flash for the camera. Overall, I was pleased but unfortunately dust kept getting UNDER the screen. I exchanged it thinking I had a defective phone only to get dust under the second screen. I don't mean a little dust, I mean literally more than 50 specks. Then, after researching, I found out that this happens with many models in the Curve and Storm series. In the end I'm glad it happened because I really do like My Android phone.
The problem is I ordered an Otterbox Commuter for the Blackberry from eBay from a seller with a 15 day return policy. When I got it, I no longer had the phone so I contacted them about returning it. They told me to simply take it to the post office and refuse it, and as long is it was unopened they would just send it back as return to sender. So I did as they instructed the same day I received it.
Two weeks went by, then three, and now it's been more than a month and they haven't gotten it back. If I type in the tracking number on the USPS website, it only shows it being delivered to me. However, at the post office, they can see more info. They see it being tracked all the way back to Brooklyn, NY. The problem is it came from Flushing, NY! So the USPS delivered it to the wrong address and now it's lost.
The post office told me since it was priority mail, it was insured for up to $50 but the seller would have to file a claim since it was supposed to be delivered to them. I've explained the whole story to the seller three times and even sent them a scanned copy of the tracking record that the post office printed out for me. I've gotten this email from them ALL THREE times!

I'm more upset with the seller than I am with the USPS. Mistakes happen but this is ridiculous! At this point, I've pretty much written off ever getting my $20 back.
