upgrade to the droid maxx?

currently i have the razr maxx HD and amvery happy with it.

is it worth to upgrade to the replacement droid maxx?

My opinion ...

If you had the Razr Maxx I would say yes. Since you have the Razr Maxx HD the incremental improvement is much less pronounced. The Droid Maxx is faster and has 32GB of stored and NFC and wireless charging and it also has "OK Google Now".

(I trained "OK Google Now" with "OK Droid Now" and only have to say "OK Droid" followed by the command. "OK Droid weather" for the current weather report is used by me a lot.)

(I went from the Bionic to the Maxx. The Maxx is the best phone I have ever used.)

OK Google Now ... does that also work on the Razr Maxx when the screen is off (like on the Droid Maxx)?

There is no SD-Ext port and there is no HDMI port on the Droid Maxx.

Works on the MAXX HD with the screen off. I uninstalled though b/c I wasn't really using it.

I thought it was hokey when I first got it. I have found it very useful when working in a private office or in the car to just ask it things while I continued uninterrupted to work on my desk workstation or drive my car.

External card reader is the solution for really big data users. HDMI port is a killer for some people.

Kit Kat doesn't support Smart Actions motorola replaced it with an app called Assist and its dreadful.

Aw I'll probably keep it and if I can't stop the RMHD from accepting a force update to KK then I'll switch back to the Droid Maxx and have the bigger screen and quite possibly by then they may have fixed some of the shortcomings like poor antenna reception no Smart Actions etc.
