It's an ad for a Chinese car in China, I saw it at the local "Morris Garage" dealership, because my friend's new Roewe broke down with a duff water pump.

"MG Since 1924"

SAIC would no doubt like the population of China to think this is a British car.

Why I find it interesting is because my uncle used to work at the MG plant when it was nationalised British Leyland*, and that's what he drove. They were often on strike, and British Leyland cars had a terrible reputation....cough...Austin Allegro...Morris Marina..cough! They were privatised under Margaret Thatcher and became MG Rover Group, also owned the once noble Morris marque as well. Even under private ownership the cars they produced were still rather crap in my experience, e.g. Austin Maestro. Eventually they went bust and the marques were bought up by Shanghai Auto(SAIC).

However SAIC didn't get the Rover marque, that went to Tata in India I think, along with Land Rover. So they invented a brand called Roewe and now pretend it has a British heritage in their ads.

Roewe are only sold in China, elsewhere they're called MG.

I need something to keep me out of trouble...and my mind occupied...hopefully challenged...
problem is...I have to be the boss,,,or at least in charge...or at least in charge of my so called boss... and I don't want to work by myself because that would defeat the whole purpose...and I don't want to teach children again..I think...maybe...and I want something I like to do...something more...not so mindless than some work I do now...plus that's superficial and very iffy unless you put 110 percent into it...and I don;t really like it ...plus I'm getting older...and I already decided not for me...anywho

actually... I kinda don't want another job...I have a great job i'm a stay at home mom to 2 great boys...occasionally I'll do some freelance work...like when I'm going to Vegas...actually barely never anymore ..but I'm doing a favor ..so

I think I was just venting...this winter is killing me...I need Holiday to get here so I can play!!I'm a sunshine and beach person at heart......and I just moved...to a house with bigger yards no sidewalks..etc...so I can't just walk out my front door and be able to hang out with friends..or walk to just about anywhere..downtown etc...like my old house..I only moved 2 miles away...same schools etc....but it's isolating I think....even though I have friends who live close ...and have met some neighbors...I have a pretty sweet pool...can't wait to use it..maybe it's
