I'm returning the VWZ crystal plastic snap-on case!!! It makes the phone feel like boo-boo!!!! It makes the phone look like boo-boo too!!!! I ordered a case from cheapdroids.com.

Well I stopped back in the local store to compare mine to one a sales guy had. My screen is actually a tad bit better than his. I guess they just decided to go cheap on the display and we have to live with it.

Oh my God! I tried to open notifications by sliding my finger down the screen and somehow deleted my clock and weather. How can I get them back. It's the original screen that came with this phone. I'm heartsick that I've screwed something up so soon.

Edit: Oh, I feel good. I figured out how to get it back.

Got the red to black one, so did a coworker, and I gotta say - - pretty happy with it.

I had my phone naked the first 24 hours but then panic set it, and I got the case. Really like it.

My biggest problems with the silicone cases are their grip, and propensity to pick up pocket lint/cotton dust/whatever else is in your pocket/purse/cup holder.

The grippy aspect of the silicone means when I pull it out of my pocket, it comes out w/ everything else in there, too. My brother-in-law lost a $100 target gift card IN target this very way.

seriously, there's a thirty day exchange policy on any new phone w/ VZW.

Might have to pay the restocking fee, but any good CSR would credit that, especially on a phone w/ so much riding on in it in the industry. I'd definitely show the pics provided in the forum as proof that "they're NOT ALL that way".

Got my phone from BB after work! It looks real nice. No problems at BB. They were able to add the Verizon TEC insurance; but they add to go directly to the Verizon site to do it.

Went cross the street to the Verizon Corp store and picked up the last Black and Red hard cover. The cover looks real good, it's darker than any of the pictures and I don't notice any added weight or bulk.

I asked if the phone + cover will fit into the dock thats coming and I was told yes!

I have not played with the phone except for the leap feature. I just LOVE that feature. The phone is charging now.

Where can I get cheap data cables for the Incredible?

try ebay.... for about $15, i got a car mount, travel charger, home charger and data cable for my droid and luckily they work on my incredible

Long Press on a blank spot on the screen, select Widget, Select Clock.

Whooooo!!!!! My Incredible is charging at my desk! I can't stop looking at it and grinning and giggling like a little school girl!

Got delivered a few hours ago, but I was doing interviews and couldn't leave. Sad thing is, I saw the FedEx truck drive up... saw the lady carrying my box, and I couldn't leave the room!

on my Droid I was able to have one email icon, that I would then open and chose gmail or yahoo, rather than having 2 seperate icons.

How can I accomplish this with the Inc?

Setup all your email accounts using the HTC Mail application.

Oh yes it is - I didnt mean that in a negative way at all! So cool going though all the apps and widgets. I'm so into aesthetics that its going to take me forever to get it streamlined.

When I press the HTC Mail icon, I get the options "Exchange ActiveSync" and "Other (POP3/IMAP)". For all accounts, except for your Exchange account, select "Other" and follow the prompts.

If you are adding your gMail accounts, I suggest that you go to your accounts settings on the Web and enable IMAP.

Incredible only works with the top side to your left hand, can't spin it the other way...yet

I'm having a lot of fun playing with ringtones. Is there a safe place to find the following TV theme songs: Seinfeld, Simpsons, and Lost (does Lost even have a theme song?). I am leery of going to some websites to download music. Afraid of viruses. Can you steer me to a safe place to download this music? Thanks. Tomorrow I'll tackle changing my screens.

By the way, someone asked a while back about a paper user's manual. There's a phone number in the Quick Start guide inside front cover to call to have one mailed to you.

How long did it take fellow ex-eris users to find the "wake" button on the top of the phone? I spent about a minute trying to hit the optical button and then tap the screen...then the menu button....

My daughter had to tell me it was on the top of the phone...

way to much going on in the house to spend any time with the phone...but so far i am loving it...even the keyboard which i was dreading is way more responsive than the eris.

Also, best screen protectors? ZAGG I assume?

Anyway, the phone....awesome. Battery life, not great, but I haven't been able to keep my hands off it so...TBD.

How did I live without this phone for so long?!
