Help Headphone Volume Warning - Can it be turned off?

Hey all,

Anyone know how I can stop my stock G2 from turning volume down when I have my 3.5mm plug in? It assumes I'm listening to headphones, so if I have the volume set anywhere within 4 steps of max, it will turn it down to 5 below max every few minutes, warning me about excessive headphone volume.

PAIN IN THE BUTT!

Please let me know if there is a menu or setting I'm overlooking.

I would like to know this as well. It is very annoying and wastes time. Also, most of the time I am plugging the phone into the car stereo, not headphones, so the volume adjustment is totally unneccesary.
 
I'm just relating what I've seen elsewhere on the web, it looks like the answer is no, and the restriction is even in KitKat, and not unique to the LG G2.

One possible solution, is to use a small A2DP BT receiver like this:
Bluetooth A2DP 3 5mm Stereo Audio Receiver Dongle Adapter for PC Laptop Phones | eBay

I'd recommend this one but I know there are others. I'd be weary of purchasing stuff much cheaper than this. Advantage of this one is it comes with 3.5mm male to RCA male plug you can use with a regular stereo. You could also use it to make your non-BT car radio capable of handling BT streaming audio. Another advantage to using something like this, you aren't putting mechanical cycles on your phone's connector.
 
I think that's an awesome find. the name of the app w.r.t. this function is not intuitive, but if it gets the job done for you...

I believe u open the program and make sure the radio is media for ur music and slide the volume level all the way to the highest based on ur listening needs. After hit enable.

I am still on the fence I would have sworn my volume still got adjusted after about 30 minutes so I deleted the app and downloaded it again let me see how it goes this time around.
 
This really pisses me off...especially when I am using voice navigation with the AUX plugged in. I am playing spotify..and when google maps tell me which exit to take..it all of sudden sounds like its whispering to me...it keeps reducing the volume back..W..T..F!!!
 
I think i found a way to disable volume warning on LG G2. But first your phone has to be rooted. You need xposed app which is only working if your phone is rooted. After you installed xposed you need Gravitybox module for xposed. After you installed that module and rebooted the phone go to media tweaks and uncheck save headset media volume
 
I get the warning on every boot for adjusting the A2DP bluetooth volume in my car.
While driving, I _really_ don't want to have to hit the little checkbox.
If I don't, then I have to turn my radio volume up really high to hear directions & music.
Then, if I switch the radio to any other source (radio, usb, cd, admittedly rarely used), I get blasted.
Someone thinks they are _lowering_ their risk exposure by this ???
This absolutely needs to be disabled for A2DP, at least when paired with an automobile. (detectable perhaps by handsfree profile, or message access profile?)

I was able to make sound adjustments and changes with g2 tweaksbox and stweaks. Both have plenty changes you can make. there is also g2 exposed but tweaksbox is the only one I have seen so far that you can change colors of the icons in status bar. The plain white that at&t uses was driving me crazy.
