Root My AWE is all out of whack! Help plz!

I installed twrp....then flashed it back to an "updated zip" of the stock awe rom. well now when i go to play my music it plays the song but everytime i go inot my music or click to go to a different song it says "DSP ERROR".....DSP manager doesnt even come with the STOCK awe phone. plus i have APOLLO (not stock music player. but i do still have 2 other music players and i only need one.) PLUS it has torch on there which doesnt come stock on the AWE phone. i was told it was a bad flash...i re-wiped/formatted it and tried the stock ROM again....still has apollo and torch etc etc. so i tried installing the moonshine white ROM (did that when i first got my phone it worked fine) but now when i try to install it i get down to the command line where im suppose to type "fastboot boot twrp.img" and whne i hit enter it says it couldnt find that file? yet it shoes up in the zip that you extract. so my screen stays black. i have to take out the bettery and then i try booting my phone in recovery mode...it pops up but its the original recovery mode that is stock with the awe so its not cwm. im so confused! can anyone help me please and thank you!

You need to install cwm or twrp. This is the easy way for getting cwm installed. Install this from the play store, https://play.google.com/store/apps/...edium=organic&utm_term=recovery+tools+android
Then, on a PC, extract the cwm image file (ONLY) from the zip (this should work the same for TWRP) then move the image file to the root of your SD card. Open the app you downloaded earlier, select "flash recovery" then make sure you choose option to install from storage. Select the image file from the SD card and install, reboot and done. Then power off your phone, press and hold Vol. down+power until it vibrates, then release the power button (still holding Vol. down) until cwm or twrp boots up. If on TWRP, go to wipe>advanced then select and wipe the following, Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, & System. I also suggest factory resetting as an added precaution. (make sure to go to the "advanced" section to wipe the dalvik cache if using cwm, and factory reset and wipe the cache!) Then proceed to install the ROM of your choosing be it stock or custom. Reboot, and life is good. Hope this helps. Make sure to make a back up!

Here's the link for the zip, had to find it, its in our root guide. Dev-Host - cwm-6.0.3.7-publicbeta1.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service Make sure your rooted, the app needs it to install cwm. Let me know how this works for you. Edit: Also make sure you have USB Debugging enabled and developer options turned on.

You should still be rooted then, as long as you didnt follow the unroot return to stock guide. Do you have super user installed?
Edit, duh moment, if you're still running moonshine then you have it. Just extract and install the cwm img file. If you get a no root problem let me know, shouldn't be an issue though.

No need to fret, I can get you through it in a few clicks. This is what I used to root. Its in another language but I promise you its easy. Here's the link, ROOT MASTER Apk | Android Senpai ™ : Free Download Game & Application Android I suggest using the media fire link. Download it, select it on your SD card from your phone, install, open it, select the "mulai root" option, then keep clicking until it finishes and installs super su, then reboot. Upon rebooting varify root (su in terminal or use root checker), open super su and update the binaries and reboot. Then proceed with the instructions to install cwm.
You can uninstall it once you verify you have root, leave super su installed though. You can also uninstall the app you use to get cwm on the phone once you get a recovery on your phone.

Yes but it isn't malware. I saw this all over the internet. Have used it with no problems many times. Can't believe everything you read on the internet;)

... Can't believe everything you read on the internet;)

If you say so...

Sure it's not a malware, it just harvest IMEIs to some Chinese server. Why take the risk when there are known safe alternatives...

Try TowelRoot instead.

I can confirm this. I've had no issues rooting with this method, no signs of account compromise, no service issues, no strange bugs or quirks, nada. Works like a charm, I had issues using cydia impactor (sp?).

So...disconnect from the internet? Seriously though, cydia impactor couldnt be any simpler
