So.... now they got this way to root the s5 and the future note4 right? But not to unlock the bootloader, so you can't use custom roms, right? If I could tether and customize, this may be the ticket. I think I'm gonna wait to quarter 4 to upgrade to the next big things.

Lemme know. tia.

Well more than likely, yes, the bootloader will have to remain locked again, because of Knox Security.

However, if everything works out like it has now, we will just have to install Safestrap above the bootloader and can load ROMs into different slots without affecting the bootloader.

Therefore, we will have the ability to root the device, we just won't be able to do anything about the bootloader :)

Hashcode has stopped all development of safestrap so that might put a damper on things, besides vzw/att are gunna have to get root first before any of that can happen.

i may go to tmo anyway

yes yes my friend come to the land of unlockedness and bountfull roms :DDD

I posted that in thread that the codeing looks very similar so if you come to Tmo they dont care if the knox flag is tripped I have turned in 3 phone with it tripped and I tripped the flag the day i got the new ones so with all that I am sure a CFroot will be out for the 4 the day it comes out
