Help Error: Cannot Play Video

So, I just recently (almost a week ago) switched from a drowned HTC One M7 to this here new, sweet LG G3. Love the phone. BUT...

When watching videos (Facebook or Chrome - although in Chrome it doesn't always give the popup, just flat out stops playing), after about 30-60 seconds, I get the following popup.

Anyone know why?

Most likely format maybe not playable. Have you tried to clear the default and choose the internal video player to play the videos? Or you can try using MXplayer or BSplayer

Issues like theses go around the app itself. Mostly likely Facebook is having troubles with the lg g3 give it time. Are you able to play videos in general? Have you tested the issue throughout the system?

I had this same issue last night and what I did to fix it was restart my phone. Don't know if you've tried that but just a suggestion.

Hmm, you may be right. I'll have to try changing the default.

Yes, I'm able to play videos on storage without issue.

Yeah, I've restarted numerous times. I had a feeling it was app specific.

So, the issue looks to have resolved itself, although Facebook did update the app. I was just able to watch a 3 minute video on FB without issue.

This is happening to me on the Facebook app. It will play for a minute or two then error message.

Damn, I'm starting to get this same issue now more persistently as I try to watch videos trough fb. Anyone know a true fix or what's causing it.

might be a side issue or all in the same, but I can't seem to play videos I've uploaded on dropbox. When I try to play the clip it window pops up saying "Video Problem; Can't play this video" Wondering if my only choice to is download the file on the SD card to play on MXplayer?

My LG G3 is having the same issue when trying to play FB videos. The problem started about a week ago. I would use a different video player if I could figure out where to find/disable the stock player. Anybody know?

My issue has seemed to work itself out.

However, I also believe I'm in FB's beta tester group (so I get a FB update literally just about every day lol). They must have fixed it in the versions I have, but haven't yet pushed it to the public.

I forget how I signed up for the tester version of the app.

I was getting that error message a lot when I watched videos from a movie app. I downloaded MXplayer & I've had no problems since.
