Help Microsoft Mobile Office Not Compatible With this Device?

Hi all, I upgraded from my Galaxy S4 which had 4.4.4 to the Note 4, also with 4.4.4. Office Mobile says "not compatible". Anyone know why and if it WILL be compatible?? Thanks!

where did you get the office from? It might be incompatible with your android device, you might be installing the wrong software. Can you try this; Microsoft Office

Nope...I am having the same issue as the OP...originally tried to install via Play on the Note 4. No dice. Your link on the PC pops up a message "compatible with some of your devices" and the Note is specifically marked off. Worked on my GS3, but not this. Wonder if MS feels this is too much like a tablet?
