Google Authenticator - missing a obvious step?

I am trying to resync the times on my Google Authenticator, as the codes being given are not in sync. Where is the settings menu to do this? Or how do I access the resync menu?

I have opened Authenticator, the resync does not appear to be anywhere inside the program.

If I am on the main screen and I pull down to open the GS3 general settings, under Accounts it shows Google, but it doesn't show the other accounts I have in Authenticator that I need to resync.

So, what am I missing? Must be something obvious...

Thanks for any help!

Hello and welcome BrentBrent:)
I'm not even sure if the Authenticator has a sync option.
I've never experienced it, but unless someone comes up with a better idea, I would suggest turning off 2 step verification, and set it up again. :dontknow:

Edit: oh, I just looked at my Google Authenticator app...in the settings screen, there is an option for "Time correction for codes"...try that:)

Since this is not really related to the device itself, I think a better place for this thread would be in Android Applications:) Would you mind if I moved it there?

Are you using an Galaxy S3? When I open my Google Authenticator app there is no "settings" menu option that I can see. That is why I posted here, all of the instructions that search came up with say "open settings and press sync" but on the S3 there does not appear to be a "settings" option.

To be even more specific, on the Galaxy S3, I can open the Authenticator app, which gives me the accounts I have set up, and the options to copy the current displayed numbers to the clipboard, or delete the accounts or change the account names. None of those involve resyncing time.

If I go Settings -> ... ->Application Manager -> Authenticator I can choose to "Force Stop", "Uninstall", "Clear Data", "Clear Cache"; none of these seem to have anything to do with syncing times.
