Clock/Time display option

Hi,
On my S3 I can't find an option to show the time/clock large on my screen.
In comparison what I'm looking for is what blackberry has. When you plug in a BB the clock instantly comes on the screen in large print. I have poor eyesight and this helps me be able to see the time without my glasses.

Is there somewhere I can go to set this up on my S3?

Its in your lock screen settings. Lock screen widgets. Or if your phone is on KitKat (android 4.4) then you can turn on daydream and set it to clock.
Go to settings/device/lock screen/lock screen widgets. You will see clock and personal message, and also clock size. Hope that helps

Thank you for your reply. I checked what you suggested and mine looked like yours. What I'm looking for is when the phone is charging, instead of having a black screen, if somehow I can get the time to display (without hitting a button). Does that make sense?

You'll need an app for that like the one on the post above this one. There is a bunch of them.
