I have a virgin mobile lg optiums f3. Im rooted and have a 32gb sd card. Ive instailed folder mount and gl to sd. And still when i want to download a app it says i dont have enough storge. Im a gamer plus my little girl likes games to. Is there anything i can do?

Yeah, there's a partition tool you can use on android, of course it requires root, just follow the directions. Make an EXT2/3/4 partition, a FAT32 partition, and a SWAP partition. Swap isn't necessary but I would always make a 1 GB partition on my 32 GB card just in case. Split up the other two depending on what you think you want for apps or data storage. It's still limited to internal space though...APKs are stored internally, still getting to work on trying to fix that, but L2SD has a 'move to SD' feature but it's way buggier.

****Status of this thread: I found a script that enables the "Move to SD Card" option in the settings of the phone for native move support. I will working on porting it to our phone later this after noon so we get start moving applications to the sdcard. This is NOT the SDCard swap script, but rather Actually moving the app to the sd card.

I just wanted to say that Link2SD has worked flawlessly for me. It was a little tricky to setup but I followed the thread linked below. I used the ext4 option when partitioning my SD card that way Link2SD (plus version) can actually link app data too. Currently my installed apps total 1.45 GB, pretty awesome for this phone!

(I did not try the GL-SD app as I have no need for it)

All that being said, it would be nice to have the option natively, so Sandix's work is very much appreciated.

Google it :)

Or later I can post a couple screenshots, no time right now.

EDIT - I remember there was a pretty good youtube video showing what to do and it was for the F3 too...ok, here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnPb1gF2jZs (about halfway through)

It worked for me thanks a lot :) but my next question is there a way i can swap gbs? My phone is 1.24gb and i only got 624mb my sd card is 32gb is there a way i can move gbs?

In short no. You can swap internal "storage" (FAT32 partition) with external storage (also FAT32 partition) but the rest of the total internal capacity is various linux partitions, no way to (easily) mess with that. I suppose a ROM developer might be able to make that happen but not really a good idea since the SD card can be removed.

The best option is what you've already done: symlink apps to a partition located on the SD Card.

Make sense? Am I understanding the question correctly?

Yeah it made since. I did the aparted and link2sd card nothing else i can do right?

It might make sense to swap the SD card and internal FAT storage if you have an app like a game that stores a lot of data (e.g. OBB data) and doesn't have an option to store it where you want it. Or maybe use an app that does the OBB swap only but not the entire card.

I don't have any experience with that so I can't say how well one of those options would work.
