Hello. I'm new here so please forgive me if this has already been asked/answered. I searched but could not find anything. I installed the Outlook app last week and was wondering if there is a place to find step-by-step instructions on using it? What I'm wondering is, should or can it sync with my Outlook email & calendar on my computer. If so, I can't figure out how, none of my calendar events or emails show in the app on my phone. The phone is a Galaxy S6 and carrier is Sprint.
Thanx for any help/direction

Outlook on your computer should be syncing to Outlook.com in the first place so that it will sync to Outlook on your Android.
Outlook.com is not the only place where Android Outlook works. Many people have separate email services.

I can't tell from Lesllie's post which email service is involved.

My problem with the Outlook app is that since changing the password, it constantly asks me to enter the password, and doing so does not get rid of the messages. When software makes it hard tio change the passwords, you have to wonder about the mindset of the people who wrote it.

I hope I can explain everything. I installed outlook my phone a couple weeks ago. I used me email address that I have on my laptop and used all the settings I had used in the 'stock' (?) email app. Outlook on my laptop and phone do not sync, at least I don't see any of the email in the outlook email app, only the 'stock' app (I'm not sure if that's the correct work). My email service is through Charter and it's an IMAP.
Thanx everyone

But she wants to sync her PC Outlook to Outlook on Android. Doesn't matter what email works with Android Outlook. The only thing that matters in her case is that Outlook on PC should be syncing up to cloud in the first place.

Your problem is that you should take it with Outlook developers.

Next time try to make your own thread if you have your own different problem and nor hijack somebody else.

Newbie to Android - looking at the new S7 when out. Currently have Window Phone and sync to desktop Outlook 2010 via Outlook connector wirelessly

2 email accnts -
One is Live.com Microsoft accnt
One is Pop accnt from local Cox ISP provider

Neither goes to or thru web Outlook.com.
What is good way to sync to android phone

Does android phone have a native system app or a downloaded app that will be able to add my accnts or have to go thru some type gibberish 3rd party app. Dont like that additional tools and mess, but will see what we can come up with.

If you're looking to just sync emails, you can sync them directly to the Android email app. You just have to set the email server to reflect deletions on both phone and Outlook on PC.
