Apps How to sell App with "sexual" contents?

Hi all.

I got an idea for an escort (included striptease etc) web app that has sexual contents. All which is legal in the country that I live in.

It doesn't show pornographic videos like you can find on adults sites, but it has nudity "profile/user-pictures" to show the services.

A possibility is to exclude the nudity with only less dressed girls and men or to censor parts.

I don't know what the rules are for Google Play Store but I assume it is against their terms.

If it is - do you guys know if there's any possibility to sell the web app in some other way?

Thanks in advance.

Of course any purchasers of your app would have to check installation of "untrusted sources" on their devices from settings, i.e. allow sideloading of APKs. The default is off.

Which also means you might have to deal with incompatible devices yourself, like someone purchases and downloads your app, but then finds their tablet or phone won't install and run it. Google Play usually prevents the purchasing of apps that are incompatible with certain devices.

In the mainstream, I don't think so, they just don't allow explicit adult content in apps. Android has Google Play and Amazon Appstore, Apple iOS has iTunes Store only, and Windows has Windows Store operated by Microsoft, and they all have similar rules AFAIK.

There's Chinese app stores, which we don't usually recommend here on AF, because of app piracy and possible malware. However they don't sell paid apps, they monetize via ads, or sometimes in-app SMS billing, usually fremium games.

I don't often look at these things, but the norm for adult material on the internet, is to run a website that has paid membership, and anyone can just view it with their browsers.
