Sprint enlists Dixons Carphone's help to open 500 new stores

Sprint and UK retailer Dixons Carphone are teaming up to open 500 stores in the US. Dixons will help Sprint design and build the stores to match their new vision for retail presence and should add a massive footprint for the company.

It will be 500 Sprint-branded stores. Dixons don't exist as a brand any longer even in the UK.

Dixons? They merged into the Currys/PC World electrical retail chain some years ago under the DSG Retail banner. In July 2014 Carphone Warehouse merged with DSG to form Dixons Carphone... still with me here?

It's CPW's Connected World Services division who are partnering with Sprint in this venture.
