Don't have purify installed.
Check # icon near alarm on status bar.
It looks like root icon to me.

Ok...after testing...Screen shot needs root access to activate...via shake...button combo...whatever way you choose to make a capture....it stays running in back ground ready....the root icon is really the screen shot...I forced stop...and it went away...now if needed...I can start prior to a screen shot...when done stop app....and it goes away...have not looked into any deeper.

Dont have any 3rd party screenshot app, using normal method, vol down and power button.
even with root turn off I can take screenshot just fine.
SO for me it is not screenshot app.
any other pointers ??

any other apps running in back ground with root permission can also cause that....does not have to be a 3rd party

I was having some weird things happen on my first install... downloaded file again...compared first and second download...was 7 bytes difference.....now when ever I download a rom...I only download that file only...and do not use my pc until download finishes...plus sometimes I re download and have two copies...I know do an MD5....since I reloaded this rom...and used the MICRO version of Gapps....no issues so far...Steps I took...load rom and gaps on sd card...shut down phone...reboot into TWRP.....Backup data on my Blisspop rom.....Factory wipe...2 times....install rom zip only..go back install Gapps micro zip. only....reboot phone....let everything load....setup bare necessities shut down phone....boot into TWRP...restore data from Blisspop....reboot....finish any setups after load...everything working as it should....
