Help Couldn't solve overheating problem...

Hello all. I just registered to this forum in hope to solve my problem. I tried many things but nothing helped. I hope you guys can help me.

I have the Galaxy S5. I was very content with it, minor issues most of the time.
Until I update it to the latest firmware (for solving call issues). Now it is overheating.
Overheating problem is so bad that I can't even hold my phone properly.
Sweat caused by overheating causes slipperiness. As result, my phone slips from my hands.

Here is the things I've tried so far:

Resetting system to factory settings,
In recovery menu, did wipe cache and data,
Flashed the whole stock rom for my country via Odin,
Flashed many stock roms; KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, other countries' stock roms,
Flashed with the following options ticked in Odin: Re-Partition PIT, Nand-Erase All, Bootloader Update,
Voided my warranty and installed root and custom recovery Philz, there format anything can be formatted,
Installed custom roms,
Changed kernels,
Bought a case for my phone,
Changed charger (but not the battery),

And nothing helped...
Since I voided my warranty (Knox 0x1) you guys are my last hope.
Asked many places but no one couldn't be able to help me.
I am hopeless, seriously thinking to sell this piece of ****. Never saw such thing in my life.

Unfortunately I think we will see a lot of this soon. The MM update is very large and the S5 probably can't handle it. The same thing happened with the S4 and Lollipop. It's Samsung's attempt to encourage you to buy a new phone
I don't know if you can get these apps where you are but they work well.

Also, a little confused, you flashed your Samsung Galaxy S5 back to Kit-Kat? Amazing. This should have solved your problem.

Remember too, when a ROM is first installed it can act erratically until it "settles in". This can take a day or more. Usually less though.
Another thing to consider would be Wi-Fi connectivity. Constant searching and downloading large files can also cause overheating.

I am seriously think that this is the case.
I think this is how they back their old customers up (!).
This is why I was afraid to send it to their service center.
I was terrified that it may come back even worse but I think they've done an amazing job worsening my phone just by a small firmware update so their service center part not needed anymore. Well played Samsung (!).

Back to the main topic, yes, I was able manage to flash back to KitKat. It was the same overheating, so I flashed Lollipop again over it and now using Marshmallow.
Actually I was using a custom rom just in this morning.
Flashed Marshmallow today. No difference at all (still overheating).

Strange thing is that I flashed back to KitKat but I still had ended up with Lollipop's battery off animation.
I am seriously asking why was that happen because I did all wipes before downgrading?

I use a ROM at least for three days to make sure.
Nothing changed so far at the end of third day.

I tried to use my phone with and without WiFi but still same.
I even changed my network to 2G, still no.

All things were working well until I update it to the latest firmware (Lollipop).
Was using Lollipop in the first place.

I am going to try the apps you suggested but I've tried that kind of apps many times and couldn't get it to solved.
Hopefully maybe this ones can solve.

If flashing the phone back to Kitkat did not solve the problem, I doubt that this is software or Marshmallow induced.

Which part of the phone is hottest? The battery?

I am beginning to think that this is not only a software issue too.
ALTHOUGH, I still don't understand why KitKat had Lollipop's battery off animation. Isn't that strange?
Because I did all the wipes there is before I flash to KitKat.
There should be no things left from the previous os, yet it still left something behind. Makes no sense at all.

Room temp is 26 Celsius.
The battery temp is around 30 Celsius at idle and going up to 38 Celsius at load.
Not when playing games but when installing some apps.
It will even go up to 42 if the phone is under heavy load.
The CPU is around 35-40-ish at idle, 50-60-ish when surfing in the web and it will go up to 80 Celsius some times.

I was hoping for the same thing as well...

Never get five hours screen time. I see some people get five to six screen time with the S5.
Other than that, it can last up to three days, most of the time, two.
I get three and half screen time at most.
Oh and the system never shuts down close to low battery levels.
It will go as down as possible like %1, then shuts down. So it is healthy I presume.
My old phone was shutting itself down before %20 battery left.

It is more of a general guide. I did mostly everything written there except purchasing another battery.
The S5 original battery is a pricey one, so not sure if I spend money or not.
Can't return the new battery to the seller in case it doesn't work because of the returning policy (doesn't cover batteries).

Guys, do you think buying a good grip case help to reduce or minimize slipperiness? I only discontent with sweat caused by overheating that causes slippery surface on the phone.

It depends. The grippier the case, the harder to slide in the pocket

Normally I would say root it and install custom ROM. But you did and it didn't help. I'm at a loss. I apologize.

Oh my. No need to apologize sir. I appreciate for your trying to help. I had very little hope anyways.
Many people did their best but I knew it was a lost cause before even I start this thread.
I think Samsung really did its best to make my phone hundred of bucks of paperweight

Let's see if a grip case will make a difference. I have a case but it is not a gripped one.
At least it is a much cheaper way to try and see than purchasing another battery.
If none will help, then I will have no choice but to send this phone to Samsung service center.
Maybe they are stupid enough not to look Knox's counter, can't solve the problem either and give me a brand new S5

Maybe some of the silver that cools the system down in done for. Have your broke your phone apart to apply more of the cool gel to the cpu? This is a shot in the dark, I am just using what I know from cpu and xbox issues I fixed like this

No, I haven't. It is just eight months old phone so I didn't think the cool gel has dried.
I don't have enough experience to disassemble and reapply cool gel anyway.
Maybe the cool gel dried. I don't know honestly. The CPU will up to as high as 80 Celsius at times.
But AFAIK, the S5 is hard to disassemble due to its water resistance feature.
