Help Can't update my Samsung Galaxy S5

So, few weeks ago my friend told me that there was a new update on Android, I hadn't got any notification, and since then I'm trying to update, but everytime I check for updates it says "The lastest updates have already been installed", I need help please. In addition, my friend and I have the same phone a Samsung Galaxy S5

I would just be patient and wait for it, if you and your friend have the same phone, it´s only a matter of time before you get it.

it would be better to say, that IF your friend and you have the Same Phone AND the same carrier service, you will get the update.

Just because we all own a S5, does not mean that we all get to enjoy the latest updates.
Some of our carriers are slow to provide, or just won't at all.
