Buying water resistant phones..

Besides the LG g6 , What other modern smartphone in the past 3 years is overall the best smartphone with water resistance for the money?

If you want to stay with LG there is the X Venture. Sony Xperia XZ.

Samsung has many - Galaxy S8, S8+, S8 Active, S7, S7 Edge, S7 Active, Note 8.

Note sure what all are selling for, but last years models would of course be priced lower.

Sony's Xperia Z range were the first to push water resistance as a feature, so any of those. More recently their Xperia XZ models are resistant, but other Xperia (X, L etc) are not.

In addition to those Kate names the HTC U11 is.

"Best" is subjective: we'd need to know what you need, want and prefer in order to answer that. There is no such thing as a "best phone", just a best for a particular person.

You're correct, there is no such thing as perfect or best phone, that's how life is. Kate mentioned lg v20. I'm pretty sure the lg v20 is not water resistant. Is there an overall solid water resistant phone under $400?

My mistake, the V20 is rated MIL-STD-810G but is not water resistant. Removed it from my above post.
